Palliative Care Physician - Martinsburg, WV

We’re looking for a compassionate, experienced physician to join our palliative care team in Martinsburg, West Virginia, to provide patient-centered care for adults facing serious or life-limiting illnesses. You’ll work closely with an interdisciplinary team to ease symptoms, clarify goals of care, and support patients and families through complex medical decisions.

In this role you will:

• Provide palliative care consultations and manage medically complex adult patients
• Assess and treat pain and other distressing symptoms
• Lead goals-of-care and advance care planning conversations
• Deliver end-of-life care with attention to comfort and dignity
• Coordinate care across inpatient, outpatient, and community settings
• Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, nurses, social workers, and other team members to create individualized care plans

We’re seeking someone who communicates clearly and compassionately, is comfortable with complex medical issues, and enjoys working collaboratively to prioritize quality of life and patient-centered outcomes.

Basic requirements:

• MD or DO
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Hospice and Palliative Medicine, Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or a related specialty
• Active West Virginia medical license or eligibility to obtain one
• DEA registration as required
