PRN Attending Physician (Hospitalist) — Skilled Nursing Facilities, Andover MA

Location: Andover, MA

Overview
Provide attending physician medical oversight for residents in skilled nursing facilities. This is a PRN, flexible-schedule role with no on-call or overnight responsibilities. Work collaboratively with Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants in a team-based model and participate in quality initiatives to improve outcomes for older adults.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as Attending Physician for assigned skilled nursing facility residents
• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions; develop individualized care plans
• Provide clinical oversight and collaborate with NPs/PAs on resident care
• Participate in Chronic Care Management, Transitional Care Management, Remote Patient Monitoring, and other quality improvement programs
• Complete documentation using the facility EHR, voice dictation, AI-powered scribe tools, and utilize UpToDate for decision support

Schedule & Work Environment

• PRN position with flexible scheduling; no fixed start/end times
• No call and no overnight responsibilities

Qualifications

• MD or DO with unrestricted US medical license or eligibility for licensure
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Geriatrics, PM&R, or Emergency Medicine
• Strong clinical decision-making, leadership, and communication skills
