Hospitalist Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant - PRN / Full-Time (Skilled Nursing) - Sulphur, LA

We seek compassionate Nurse Practitioners who are dedicated to improving the health and quality of life of older adults within a collaborative, team-based setting.

Position highlights

• Full-time and PRN openings with flexible scheduling
• Full-time shifts are six hours; rounds typically begin between 7:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m.
• No call or overnight responsibilities
• Provide primary care to skilled nursing facility residents: perform daily rounds, manage acute and chronic conditions, and develop and prescribe treatment plans
• Collaborate closely with nursing staff and interdisciplinary teams
• Efficient documentation using a streamlined EHR with AI Scribe, voice dictation, and a company-provided iPad with LTE
• Access to UpToDate® for real-time clinical guidance

Requirements

• Active, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license
• National certification (ANCC, AANPCB, PNCB, or AACN)
• Experience in skilled nursing, long-term care, geriatrics, or post-acute care preferred
• Strong ability to work independently while collaborating with physicians, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary teams
