Desert Regional Medical Center, a premier Level I Trauma Center and comprehensive regional referral center in the Coachella Valley, is seeking a General Surgeon to join an established and growing surgical practice in beautiful Palm Springs, California. • Employed opportunity with Tenet Physician Resources (TPR) and First Choice Physician Partners (FCPP) at Desert Regional Medical Center.
• Join a well-established surgical team alongside experienced general surgeons in a thriving practice environment.
• Practice located on the Desert Regional Medical Center campus, providing convenient access to hospital resources, operating rooms, and support services.
• Traditional General Surgery practice offering a balanced mix of inpatient and outpatient care (approximately 50/50 split).
• Typical schedule of Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
• Opportunity to perform a wide variety of general surgery procedures in a growing market with strong patient demand.
• Expected patient volume of approximately 30-40 patients per week.
• Anticipated surgical volume of approximately 10-20 surgeries per week.
• Call responsibilities consist primarily of coverage for your own established patient panel.
• Dedicated clinic support including medical assistants and front/back-office staff.
• Access to a conveniently located Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) on the Desert Regional Medical Center campus.
• Hospital privileges at Desert Regional Medical Center and John F. Kennedy Memorial Hospital.
• Opportunity to participate in limited teaching activities with Family Medicine residents who may rotate and shadow within the practice.

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in General Surgery.
• Fellowship training preferred.
