Position Overview

• 25 Bed Critical Access
• EMR: EPIC
• NO ICU
• Average daily census: 18
• Manages patient care in the hospital, ensuring continuity across care settings
• Day shift (7a-7p)
• Night shift (7p-7a) - Tele
• No call required  No codes- EM responds to them
• No Rapid Response

Qualifications

• Board Certified/Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
• GA state license & DEA
• Leadership experience

Facility & Clinical Details

Atrium Health Navicent Peach is a 25-bed critical access hospital in Byron, Georgia, serving Peach County since 1953 from a modern facility that opened in 2013. Its 24/7 emergency department treats adults and children, and on-site CT, MRI, ultrasound, and lab support the care team. As part of Atrium Health Navicent, it has a direct link to the Level I trauma center in Macon for higher-acuity transfers.
