Locum Tenens General Surgeon - 24-Hour ED/Inpatient Coverage (Brigham City, UT)

We’re looking for a Locums General Surgery physician to provide 24-hour emergency department and inpatient surgical coverage in Brigham City, Utah for the month of October. This is a busy call role with the opportunity to support an active call schedule.

Schedule & coverage

• Shifts: 24-hour call (7:00 a.m. - 7:00 a.m.)
• Need: approximately 30 24-hour call shifts during October
• EMR: Meditech

What you’ll do

• Cover general surgery for ED and inpatient patients, including urgent consults
• Evaluate, diagnose, and manage acute surgical conditions
• Respond to emergency surgical consultations and provide appropriate treatment
• Coordinate care with nursing, technical, and radiology teams
• Complete timely, accurate documentation in Meditech

Qualifications & requirements

• MD or DO degree
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in General Surgery
• Active Utah medical license and active Utah DEA registration (both required)
• Candidates relying on the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC) will not be considered due to the immediate staffing need
