PRN Trauma Surgery Physician - Hospital-Based (Stockbridge, GA)

PRN opportunity to provide trauma surgery coverage in Stockbridge, Georgia. Hospital-based, as-needed schedule.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and manage trauma patients in the emergency department and inpatient setting
• Provide surgical consultation and ongoing inpatient trauma care
• Perform emergency and trauma surgical procedures as indicated
• Participate in multidisciplinary patient management and care coordination
• Deliver timely evaluation and treatment of acute surgical conditions and injuries
• Document care and communicate effectively with teams and families

Requirements

• MD or DO
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in General Surgery/Trauma Surgery
• Fellowship training in Trauma and/or Surgical Critical Care preferred
• Active Georgia medical license
• Current DEA registration
• Current ACLS certification
