Position details

• Role: NP or PA for Emergency Medicine (locum)
• Start: ASAP; ongoing need
• Schedule: Flexible day and/or night shifts; exact shift times to be confirmed

Emergency department overview

• Volume: 15,000+ annual ED visits (≈41-43 patients/day)
• Current ED: 8 beds, expanding to 12
• Level IV Trauma Center with a broad mix of adult and pediatric cases
• 24-hour physician coverage and established APP support
• EMR: Meditech Expanse

Clinical support and environment

• Work alongside dedicated physicians and multidisciplinary clinical staff
• Established emergency medicine team with APP coverage in the department
• Hospital: Community facility of ~84 inpatient beds undergoing ED expansion/renovation
• Location: Fredericksburg, TX, in the scenic Texas Hill Country

Requirements

• Active NP or PA license (Texas)
• Emergency medicine experience preferred
• Current DEA registration
• Current ACLS/PALS as applicable
• Clean clinical file and ability to obtain hospital privileges
