Academic Hospitalist Physician - Academic Teaching Role (Brooklyn, NY)

We are seeking a full-time academic hospitalist to join our expanding team in Brooklyn, NY. This role combines high-quality inpatient care with active participation in an academic setting that emphasizes teaching, collaboration, and professional growth.

Key responsibilities and environment

• Monday-Friday, full-time clinical schedule
• Provide inpatient medical care in a collaborative, multidisciplinary setting
• Teach and mentor medical students, residents, and other trainees
• Participate in quality improvement, educational activities, and opportunities for academic advancement
• Work within a supportive department that values professional development and collegial teamwork

Compensation and benefits

• Competitive salary range: $220,000-$275,000

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine
• Eligible for medical licensure in New York
