Locums Neurosurgeon - Petoskey, MI | 14 Days/Month Call, Emergent OR & Inpatient Rounding

We are seeking a Locums Neurosurgery Physician to provide emergent call coverage, perform surgeries, and conduct inpatient rounding in Petoskey, Michigan. This role requires reliable, high-quality care across the hospital setting with on-site imaging, laboratory, procedure rooms, and operating room support.

Key details:

• Call schedule: 14 days per month; 24-hour coverage
• Coverage windows:
  • Oct 2, 2026, 8:00 AM - Oct 6, 2026, 8:00 AM
  • Oct 29, 2026, 8:00 AM - Nov 6, 2026, 8:00 AM
• Responsibilities: emergent call and surgeries, daily inpatient rounding
• Typical inpatient volume: ~5-10 patients per day
• Team and resources: 1 Neurosurgeon and 1 Orthopedic Spine Surgeon on site; Neurosurgery APP support in clinic; Cerner EMR

Requirements:

• Board Certified in Neurosurgery (Board Eligible not considered)
• Completed Neurosurgery fellowship
• Minimum 2-3 years post-fellowship experience
• ACLS certification
