Job Description
Join a rehabilitation hospital team in East Sandwich, MA as a full-time locum Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation physician. You’ll provide weekday clinical coverage, support weekend needs on a rotating basis, and work with an average census of about 15 patients per day.
Schedule and duties
- Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM with 8-hour clinical shifts.
- Full-time coverage required.
- Weekend call roughly 1 in 7 weekends (Saturday and Sunday). Weekend duties include rounding on assigned patients and assisting the house officer with patient needs before leaving; 4 hours free each weekend day.
- Responsibilities include admissions and discharges; no procedures required.
- Depending on assignment, you may serve primarily as an attending or as a consultant.
- EMR: Epic.
- Facility: Rehabilitation hospital.
Compensation
- $1,500-$1,700 per day.
Qualifications
- Board certified in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation.
- Active Massachusetts medical license and DEA registration required.
- Minimum of one year of clinical experience.
