Hospitalist NP/PA - Skilled Nursing Care in Burgaw, NC | Flexible 6-hr Shifts, No Nights, Competitive Pay

Provide high-quality, patient-centered care to residents in skilled nursing facilities across Burgaw, North Carolina. Work in a collaborative, team-based environment focused on improving health and quality of life for older adults.

Key responsibilities

• Perform daily facility rounds (acute and chronic condition management)
• Develop and implement treatment plans; prescribe medications
• Coordinate care with facility staff and interdisciplinary team
• Document efficiently in EHR using AI scribe and voice dictation
• Use company-provided iPad with LTE and access UpToDate® for clinical guidance

Schedule and work environment

• Full-time positions with flexible scheduling
• Typical shifts: six hours per facility; rounds usually start between 7:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m.
• No overnight or on-call responsibilities

Minimum qualifications

• Active, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license in NC
• National board certification (ANCC, AANPCB, PNCB, AACN, or NCCPA)
• Preferred: experience in skilled nursing, long-term care, geriatrics, or post-acute care
