Medical Director / Attending Physician - Hospitalist (Skilled Nursing) - Kansas City, MO

We are seeking a dedicated Medical Director/Attending Physician to provide high-quality care across skilled nursing facilities in Kansas City, Missouri. This full-time role combines clinical practice with leadership responsibilities, working alongside Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants to deliver patient-centered care for post-acute and long-term residents. The position offers flexible scheduling, collaborative teams, and the opportunity to shape clinical programs and improve outcomes across assigned facilities.

Position highlights:

• Full-time and PRN openings; physicians typically cover facilities 1-2 days per week
• No fixed daily start/end times, no overnight shifts, and no on-call responsibilities
• Typical patient volume: 18-25 visits per day

Requirements:

• MD or DO with an active, unrestricted U.S. medical license or eligibility for licensure
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Geriatrics, PM&R, or Emergency Medicine
• Strong communication, leadership, and clinical decision-making skills
