PMHNP Residency Program Director - Remote (Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner)

We are seeking an experienced Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to design, lead, and manage our PMHNP Residency Program, providing high-quality clinical education and mentorship.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and oversee the PMHNP Residency Program and curriculum.
• Mentor, supervise, and evaluate residents; provide ongoing feedback and performance assessments.
• Deliver clinical education with an emphasis on pediatric and adolescent psychiatry and evidence-based practice.
• Recruit, onboard, and support clinical preceptors and faculty; foster interdisciplinary collaboration.
• Coordinate with outpatient care teams to integrate residency activities into clinical workflows.
• Maintain program documentation, quality measures, and compliance with accreditation standards.
• Drive continuous program improvement and support professional development opportunities for residents and faculty.

Compensation & benefits

Required qualifications

• Master’s degree from an accredited nursing program.
• PMHNP-BC certification.
• Active PMHNP/APRN license in PA, VA, NJ, or MD, with the ability to obtain additional state licensure as required.
• Minimum 3 years of PMHNP/CRNP clinical experience and at least 1 year in an educational, supervisory, or leadership role.
• Strong clinical expertise in pediatric and adolescent psychiatry and familiarity with evidence-based treatments.
• Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, and decision-making skills.
• Knowledge of behavioral health regulations and residency accreditation standards.
