PMHNP Residency Program Director (Remote)

We are seeking an experienced Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to design and lead our PMHNP Residency Program. You will shape and oversee a comprehensive curriculum, mentor and evaluate residents, and ensure clinical excellence across virtual and in-person training environments supporting our clinician-founded, clinician-led behavioral health organization operating in Pennsylvania, Virginia, New Jersey, and Maryland.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and manage the PMHNP Residency Program and its curriculum.
• Mentor, supervise, and evaluate PMHNP residents, providing regular feedback and performance assessments.
• Deliver and coordinate clinical education with an emphasis on pediatric and adolescent psychiatry and evidence-based practices.
• Recruit, onboard, and support clinical preceptors and faculty; foster strong interdisciplinary collaboration with outpatient care teams.
• Maintain program compliance with documentation, quality metrics, and residency accreditation standards.
• Drive continuous program improvement and support ongoing professional development for residents and faculty.

Required qualifications

• Master’s degree from an accredited nursing program.
• PMHNP-BC certification.
• Active PMHNP/APRN license in PA, VA, NJ, or MD, with the ability to obtain additional state licenses as needed.
• Minimum 3 years of clinical PMHNP/CRNP experience and at least 1 year in an educational, supervisory, or leadership role.
• Strong clinical knowledge in pediatric psychiatry and familiarity with evidence-based treatment modalities.
• Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, and decision-making skills.
• Working knowledge of behavioral health regulations and residency accreditation standards.
