Orthopedic Spine Surgeon - Durango, CO (Full-Time, Fellowship-Trained)

Position overview:
Seeking a full-time orthopedic spine surgeon to join an established orthopedic team in Durango, Colorado. Responsibilities include evaluation, diagnosis, and management of a broad range of spinal conditions; delivery of non-operative and operative care; performing spine procedures and surgeries; creating individualized treatment plans; providing pre- and postoperative care; and collaborating with physicians and clinical staff to ensure coordinated patient care.

Key responsibilities:

• Evaluate and treat adult and pediatric spinal conditions
• Perform elective and urgent spine surgeries and procedures
• Develop and implement individualized, evidence-based treatment plans
• Provide preoperative assessment and postoperative follow-up
• Coordinate care with multidisciplinary teams (pain management, neurology, PT/OT, radiology)
• Participate in quality improvement, documentation, and patient education

Required qualifications:

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school
• Completion of an accredited orthopedic surgery residency
• Fellowship training in orthopedic spine surgery
• Board certified or board eligible in Orthopedic Surgery
• Eligible for Colorado medical licensure
• Strong clinical, surgical, and communication skills
