Pulmonary Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant - Pulmonology (Boston, MA)

Core responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and manage acute and chronic pulmonary conditions
• Conduct follow-up visits and ongoing disease management
• Order and interpret diagnostic studies (PFTs, imaging, labs)
• Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans
• Provide patient education on disease management and prevention
• Accurately document encounters in the electronic medical record
• Collaborate closely with pulmonologists and interdisciplinary care teams

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant Studies from an accredited program
• Current NP or PA certification and Massachusetts licensure (or eligibility)
• Prior pulmonary experience preferred; new graduates with strong interest considered
• Strong clinical assessment, critical-thinking, and communication skills
• Patient-centered approach and ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
