Locums Night Emergency Medicine Physician (ABEM Required) - High-Acuity 24-hr ED, Fredericksburg VA

We’re looking for a board-certified Emergency Medicine physician to cover night shifts in Fredericksburg, Virginia. This locum position is exclusively nights and requires ABEM certification. You’ll work in a high-acuity, 24-hour emergency department with robust specialty and ancillary support.

What you’ll be doing

• Providing overnight emergency care in a busy ED averaging about 100 patients per day
• Managing a wide range of acute presentations with access to advanced diagnostics and procedural resources
• Collaborating with inpatient teams and specialty services to ensure seamless patient care

Clinical environment and hospital support

Required qualifications

• ABEM certification (required)
• Board certified in Emergency Medicine
• Current Virginia medical license
• Certifications: ATLS, ACLS, PALS
