OB/GYN Hospitalist Physician - San Antonio, TX (Hospitalist-Only, No Clinic)

Join a hospital-based obstetrics team in San Antonio, TX as an in-house OB/GYN hospitalist providing immediate care for obstetric emergencies. This clinical, inpatient-only role has no clinic duties, no outside on-call expectations, and a predictable hospitalist schedule.

Primary responsibilities

• Provide timely assessment and management of obstetric patients and emergencies on labor & delivery
• Perform deliveries and operative obstetric procedures as needed
• Collaborate with anesthesiology, neonatology, nursing, and other specialty teams to optimize maternal and fetal outcomes
• Participate in quality improvement, safety initiatives, and multidisciplinary case reviews

Compensation & benefits

• Base salary: $300,000-$340,000 annually

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school
• Completion of ACGME-accredited Obstetrics & Gynecology residency
• Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in Obstetrics & Gynecology
• Active Texas medical license or eligibility for licensure
• Current DEA registration
