Trauma Surgery Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant - Inpatient Level I Trauma Center (Denver, CO)

Join a collaborative Trauma Surgery team in Denver, CO, where you’ll work with experienced trauma surgeons in a busy Level I Trauma Center and academic teaching environment. This full-time, permanent role emphasizes inpatient trauma and acute surgical care, with room to build skills in ICU procedures and OR assistance. You’ll be part of a physician-led surgical organization that supports high-acuity practice without elective clinic responsibilities or a non-compete clause.

Key responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive inpatient care for trauma and acute surgical patients
• Evaluate patients, develop and implement treatment plans, and monitor clinical progress
• Manage high-acuity trauma and surgical cases and perform procedures within your scope and hospital privileges
• Assist in the OR as needed and participate in rounds, patient education, discharge planning, and care coordination
• Collaborate closely with trauma surgeons, residents, nursing, and other care teams
• Maintain accurate, timely medical documentation and cover limited outpatient clinic hours as scheduled

What we’re looking for

• Active Colorado NP or PA license, or the ability to obtain one
• Trauma Surgery experience preferred (1-2 years)
