Locum Tenens Emergency Medicine Physician - Seattle, WA

Join a well-established emergency medicine team in Seattle, Washington, as a locum tenens physician. This role offers flexible 9-hour shift options to fit department needs, a collaborative environment, and no on-call responsibilities - though weekend coverage is required.

Shift options (9-hour):

• 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM
• 11:00 AM - 8:00 PM
• 2:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• 6:00 PM - 3:00 AM
• 10:00 PM - 7:00 AM

What you’ll do:

• Provide comprehensive emergency care to patients presenting to the ED.
• Evaluate, diagnose, and manage a wide range of acute and emergent conditions.
• Perform appropriate emergency procedures and interventions within your scope of practice.
• Stabilize and manage critically ill or injured patients.
• Order and interpret labs, imaging, and other diagnostic tests.
• Collaborate closely with nursing staff, consultants, and the broader care team.
• Determine appropriate dispositions - admission, discharge, or transfer - and ensure smooth transitions of care.
• Maintain accurate, timely medical documentation.

What we’re looking for:

• Board certified in Emergency Medicine.
• Active Washington medical license.
• Current ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications.
• Current DEA registration.
