Job Description
Board-certified Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist needed for an established outpatient behavioral health program in Mansfield Center, CT.
Position details
- Setting: Outpatient
- Patient volume: ~10-12 patients/day
- Discharges: ≥2 discharges/day
- Program size: 28 beds
- Population: Children and adolescents with a full range of mental health diagnoses
- Care model: Multidisciplinary team
Key responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations
- Provide ongoing medication management
- Develop and manage individualized treatment plans
- Coordinate care with therapists, nursing staff, and other providers
- Participate in discharge planning and ensure continuity of care
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
Qualifications
- Board-certified in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry
- Willing/able to practice in an outpatient setting
- Eligible for Connecticut medical licensure

Mansfield Center, CT - small New England community near the University of Connecticut with convenient access to Hartford and Boston.
