Chief of Radiology / Diagnostic, Breast Imaging & Interventional Radiologist - Brown University Health (Massachusetts)

Brown University Health seeks board-certified or board-eligible radiologists to join our hospital-based practice serving southeastern Massachusetts, just outside Providence. We are recruiting for four positions: Chief of Radiology (leadership), Diagnostic Radiologist, Breast Imaging Radiologist, and Interventional Radiologist.

Chief of Radiology (Leadership)

• Provide strategic, clinical, and operational leadership for the radiology department while maintaining an active clinical practice.
• Drive service-line growth, foster physician engagement, and lead quality improvement and patient-safety initiatives.
• Oversee departmental operations, budgeting, and collaboration with hospital and academic partners.

Diagnostic Radiologist

• Deliver comprehensive diagnostic imaging services across CT, MRI, ultrasound, fluoroscopy, and radiography.
• Collaborate in a multidisciplinary environment with opportunities to develop subspecialty interests.
• Participate in clinical teaching and academic activities through Brown University Health.

Breast Imaging Radiologist

• Provide full-spectrum breast imaging care including screening and diagnostic mammography, breast ultrasound, breast MRI, and image-guided procedures.
• Work closely with a multidisciplinary breast care team to ensure high-quality, patient-centered care.
• Opportunity to engage in program development and teaching.

Interventional Radiologist

• Perform a broad range of minimally invasive, image-guided procedures in a procedure-focused practice.
• Contribute to service expansion and program growth, with opportunities for collaboration across clinical specialties.
• Engage in teaching and mentorship as part of the academic practice.

Compensation & benefits

• Chief of Radiology: $475,000-$550,000
• Diagnostic & Breast Imaging Radiologist: $475,000-$535,000
• Interventional Radiologist: $490,000-$550,000

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited institution
• Board certified or board eligible in Diagnostic Radiology; Interventional Radiology certification/eligibility required for IR role
• Fellowship training or strong clinical interest in Breast Imaging or Interventional Radiology, as applicable
• Prior leadership experience preferred for Chief role
• Eligibility for medical licensure in Massachusetts
