Position overview

• Full-time Anesthesiologist with Pain Management duties, providing anesthesia and interventional pain care in inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
• Participate in a 1:6 call rotation.

Clinical responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive general anesthesia for surgical and procedural cases
• Deliver interventional pain management care in inpatient and outpatient settings
• Ensure patient-centered perioperative care and continuity
• Maintain accurate, timely medical documentation
• Collaborate with surgeons, nursing, and allied health staff to optimize patient outcomes

Qualifications

• MD or DO with completion of Anesthesiology residency
• Pain Medicine fellowship preferred
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology (Pain Medicine preferred)
• Eligible for or able to obtain a Louisiana medical license
• Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills
