OB/GYN Hospitalist Physician - Chesapeake & VA Locations (Full-Time, Competitive Pay)

• Chesapeake, Mechanicsville, Petersburg, and Richmond, VA.

Compensation & Schedule

• Salary: $300,000-$340,000 annually plus full benefits.
• Full-time hospitalist role; typically 7-9 24-hour shifts per month (about 21 days off monthly).
• No on-call responsibilities or office management.
• Flexible scheduling with potential for bonuses.

Core Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive inpatient OB/GYN care.
• Manage obstetric emergencies and stabilize high-risk patients.
• Coordinate care with labor and delivery teams and consulting providers.
• Participate in quality improvement, education, and peer review activities.

Requirements

• Board-certified or board-eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
• Virginia medical license or ability to obtain one.
• Proven ability to manage obstetric emergencies.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and patient-centered care skills.
