Locum Tenens Family Medicine Physician - Outpatient Primary Care (Tacoma/Seattle, WA)

Locum tenens opportunity in Seattle, WA - Board-Certified Family Medicine Physician. Compensation: $100/hour plus travel.

Location and Setting

• Outpatient, team-based primary care practice in Seattle
• Focus on preventive, relationship-based, whole-person care
• No inpatient responsibilities

Schedule and Patient Load

• 10-15 patients per day
• Extended appointment times (approximately 20-60 minutes)

Practice Model and Support

• Collaborative, team-based care with dedicated clinical support
• Includes health coaches and support staff
• Emphasis on value-based care and preventive medicine

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive outpatient family medicine care
• Evaluate, diagnose, and manage acute and chronic conditions
• Deliver preventive care, screenings, and health maintenance
• Develop individualized, whole-person treatment plans
• Coordinate specialty referrals and chronic disease management
• Educate patients on wellness and healthy lifestyles
• Collaborate with health coaches and care team members
• Complete timely, accurate electronic medical documentation
• Apply appropriate medical coding practices, including Medicare Advantage and HCC coding

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school
• Completion of an accredited Family Medicine residency
• Board certified (ABFM, ABIM, or AOA)
• Minimum 3 years primary care experience
• Current, unrestricted Washington medical license or ability to obtain
• Current DEA registration
• Experience in team-based primary care; EMR experience preferred
