Compensation & Schedule

• Salary: $300,000-$340,000 annually plus full benefits
• Full-time hospitalist role; self-created schedule
• Typical workload: 7-9, 24-hour shifts per month (about 21 days off per month)
• No on-call responsibilities or office management duties

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive inpatient OB/GYN care and manage obstetric emergencies
• Coordinate care with local obstetricians, nursing staff, and hospital teams
• Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and communication with referring providers

Qualifications

• Board-certified or board-eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology
• Illinois medical license or ability to obtain one
• Experience and competence in managing obstetric emergencies and inpatient OB/GYN care
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork skills
• Commitment to patient-centered care and continuous quality improvement
