OB/GYN Hospitalist - $300-340K, Flexible Schedule, No Call (Brookhaven/Jackson/Meridian, MS)

Location: Brookhaven, MS (also opportunities in Jackson and Meridian)

Overview
Join a hospital-based OB/GYN team delivering consistent, expert care to every pregnant patient who presents to the hospital. Work collaboratively with local obstetricians while maintaining control over your schedule and work/life balance.

Key responsibilities

• Provide inpatient OB/GYN care, including management of obstetric emergencies and labor and delivery coverage
• Admit, evaluate, and manage obstetric and gynecologic patients in the hospital setting
• Communicate clearly with patients, families, and referring clinicians; participate in multidisciplinary care and transfers as needed
• Contribute to quality improvement, safety initiatives, and clinical protocols
• Participate in peer review, case review, and departmental meetings

Schedule and compensation

• Full-time hospitalist position; typically 7-9 24-hour shifts per month (approximately 21 days off each month)
• No office practice responsibilities and no night/weekend on-call outside scheduled shifts
• Salary range: $300,000-$340,000 plus full benefits; flexible scheduling and potential for bonuses

Qualifications

• Board-certified or board-eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology
• Mississippi medical license or ability to obtain one
• Proven ability to manage obstetric emergencies and provide high-quality inpatient OB/GYN care
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, teamwork, and commitment to patient-centered care and continuous improvement
