Locums General Cardiologist (Inpatient/Outpatient) - Omaha, NE (Weekday Schedule)

Join a well-supported healthcare team serving the Omaha, Nebraska region as a locum cardiology physician, providing both inpatient and outpatient general cardiology coverage. This role offers a steady weekday schedule with the possibility of limited night-call responsibilities in a collaborative environment.

What to expect:

• Typical schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-4:30 PM
• Potential night-call window: 4:30 PM-8:00 AM (as needed)
• Electronic medical record: Epic

Core responsibilities:

• Evaluate and manage patients across a broad range of cardiovascular conditions in both inpatient and outpatient settings
• Perform and interpret echocardiograms (ECHO) and transesophageal echocardiograms (TEE)
• Develop individualized treatment plans and coordinate care with multidisciplinary teams
• Accurately document patient encounters in Epic
• Participate in night-call coverage when required

What you’ll need:

• Board certification in cardiology
• Active medical licenses for Nebraska and Iowa
• Current DEA registration
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications
• Solid experience in general cardiology, including proficiency with ECHO and TEE
