Family or Internal Medicine Physician - Outpatient Value-Based Care (Arlington, TX)

Location: Arlington, TX - outpatient, value-based primary care clinic (patients 18+)

Role overview
Provide continuity-focused, patient-centered care in a 100% outpatient clinic. Manage acute and chronic conditions, coordinate care with specialists, and participate in preventive care and patient education. Supervise Nurse Practitioners when applicable.

Compensation & benefits

• Guaranteed base salary: $240,000
• Up to 20% annual performance bonus
• $1,250/month supervision stipend per NP

Schedule & support

• Monday-Friday schedule; some clinics offer extended hours
• Supported by dedicated Medical Assistant and clinic team

Key responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive initial assessments, histories, and risk evaluations
• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic medical conditions
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests; prescribe medications; create individualized treatment plans
• Provide preventive care and patient education
• Coordinate referrals and follow-up with specialists and interdisciplinary teams
• Supervise Nurse Practitioners when applicable
• Maintain punctuality to keep clinic schedules on time

Minimum qualifications

• ABIM or ABFM Board Certified or Board Eligible (Board Eligible must be within 5 years of residency completion)
• Minimum 1 year clinical experience in primary care or urgent care; supervisory experience preferred
• Active Texas medical license and valid DEA registration
• Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred
