Hematology & Medical Oncology Physician - Martinsburg, WV (Academic, Full-Time)

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and manage benign and malignant hematologic disorders and solid tumor malignancies
• Develop individualized, evidence-based treatment plans
• Administer and manage chemotherapy, immunotherapy, targeted therapies, and supportive care
• Interpret laboratory results, pathology, and diagnostic imaging
• Coordinate care with surgeons, radiation oncologists, pathologists, primary care providers, and other specialists
• Participate in tumor boards, quality improvement, and clinical program development
• Teach and mentor medical students, residents, and fellows
• Maintain accurate, timely medical documentation in the electronic medical record

Qualifications

• MD or DO (or foreign equivalent)
• Completion of accredited Internal Medicine residency and Hematology/Oncology fellowship
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Hematology and Medical Oncology
• Eligible for or able to obtain a West Virginia medical license
