Locums Urgent Care NP/PA - Torrington, CT (Mon & Fri Coverage, Travel Between Sites)

We’re looking for a locum Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to cover shifts in Torrington, CT - especially on Mondays and Fridays. This is a flexible, fast-paced role in which you’ll split your day between two nearby clinic sites and be prepared for occasional last-minute schedule changes. Local candidates who can travel at least 45 minutes for coverage are preferred.

Compensation: $90 per hour

What you’ll do

• Provide walk-in urgent care to patients of all ages, from pediatrics through geriatrics
• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat common, non-life-threatening illnesses and injuries
• Perform physical exams, interpret diagnostic tests, and prescribe appropriate treatments
• Complete procedures such as suturing, splinting, and incision & drainage
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the electronic medical record
• Travel between two nearby clinic locations as needed during your shift

What we’re looking for

• Licensed Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in the state of Connecticut
• Comfortable treating patients across the lifespan
• Able and willing to travel at least 45 minutes for shift coverage
• Flexible with site assignments and open to last-minute schedule changes
• Preference given to providers who live locally
