Pediatric Dermatologist - Academic Faculty Position at Brown University Health (Providence, RI)

Brown University Health seeks a full-time, board-certified or board-eligible pediatric dermatologist to join our academic faculty in Providence, Rhode Island. This role offers a collaborative, academically focused practice caring for infants, children, and adolescents across outpatient and inpatient settings.

Key responsibilities

• Provide outpatient pediatric dermatology care in Brown Dermatology clinics.
• Perform inpatient and emergency consultations at Hasbro Children’s Hospital.
• Consult for the NICU and newborn nurseries at Women & Infants Hospital.
• Participate in multidisciplinary clinics and conferences (e.g., Vascular Anomalies Clinic, Dermatology-Genetics).
• Supervise and teach dermatology and pediatric residents, neonatology fellows, medical students, and other trainees.
• Engage in academic activities, including didactic teaching, conferences, and scholarly work.
• Lead or participate in clinical research and clinical trials.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school
• Board certified or board eligible in dermatology
• Fellowship training in pediatric dermatology (completed or in progress)
• Eligibility for or possession of an unrestricted Rhode Island medical license and DEA registration
• Demonstrated commitment to academic medicine, teaching, and patient-centered care
• Interest in clinical research and multidisciplinary collaboration preferred
