Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient and outpatient nephrology care
• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic kidney disease, hypertension, electrolyte disorders, and other renal conditions
• Manage dialysis patients and coordinate care with multidisciplinary teams
• Collaborate with primary care physicians and specialists to ensure patient-centered care
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the electronic medical record
• Participate in clinical education and teaching activities for trainees
• Engage in quality improvement and academic initiatives as appropriate

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree (or foreign equivalent)
• Completion of an accredited Internal Medicine residency and Nephrology fellowship
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Nephrology
• Eligible for an unrestricted West Virginia medical license
