Outpatient Gastroenterology Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant - Colorado Springs, CO

Join a growing outpatient gastroenterology practice in Colorado Springs as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant. You’ll work with a collaborative team of GI specialists in a supportive environment that emphasizes predictable weekday hours and strong work-life balance. Candidates with primary care or internal medicine backgrounds are encouraged - no prior GI experience required.

Schedule and Clinical Scope

• Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM with a one-hour daily lunch
• Adult patient population (18+)
• Typical clinic volume: 12-16 patients per day
• Inpatient rounding rotation every six weeks

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and manage acute and chronic gastrointestinal conditions
• Conduct new patient consultations and follow-up visits; develop treatment plans
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests and laboratory studies
• Provide patient education on disease management, medications, and prevention
• Participate in rotating inpatient rounds and collaborate closely with gastroenterologists and clinical support staff

Compensation and Benefits

• Competitive salary: $120,000-$135,000 plus a 45% production bonus

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited NP or PA program; board certified
