Level I Trauma Surgeon & Surgical Intensivist - Phoenix Level 1 Trauma/Burn Center, Academic Role

We seek a full-time, fellowship-trained Trauma Surgeon/Surgical Intensivist/Acute Care Surgeon to join a Level 1 Trauma and Burn Center in metropolitan Phoenix, AZ. This immediate opportunity is ideal for a surgeon who excels in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment and is committed to comprehensive clinical care, teaching, and research.

Position highlights:

• Practice at a designated Level 1 Trauma and Burn Center providing the full spectrum of trauma, emergency, and critical care surgery.
• Collaborate with an experienced, interdisciplinary team and report to the Chief of Trauma and the Chair of Surgery.
• Participate in a strong academic environment with teaching responsibilities and opportunities for health services, translational, or basic science research.

Minimum requirements:

• M.D. or D.O. from an accredited medical or osteopathic school
• Completion of an ACGME-accredited general surgery residency and a surgical critical care fellowship
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in General Surgery and Surgical Critical Care (American Board of Surgery)
• Demonstrated expertise in emergency surgery, trauma care, and surgical critical care
• Record of teaching and research activity
