Breast Imaging Radiologist (Breast Imaging Physician) - Brown University Health, Providence Area

We’re seeking a full-time Board Certified or Board Eligible Diagnostic Radiologist with fellowship training or strong experience in Breast Imaging to join a hospital-based practice just outside Providence (Southcoast region of MA), affiliated with Brown University Health. This role blends diagnostic and interventional breast work with some general diagnostic reads, offering clinical variety and a flexible schedule in a collegial, patient-focused setting.

What the position looks like

• Predominantly breast imaging with a mix of diagnostic reads and procedures (stereotactic and ultrasound-guided biopsies, localizations).
• Significant remote-read opportunities - with the option to work multiple consecutive weeks remotely while still performing in-person procedures as needed.
• Typical workday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Shifts and FTE are flexible; full- and part-time candidates are welcome.
• Hospital-based practice using advanced imaging equipment and a highly efficient VRad PACS/reading platform.
• Dedicated nurse navigator supports patient follow-up and scheduling.
• Optional academic involvement: affiliation with Brown University Health and the opportunity to teach medical students.

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Diagnostic Radiology.
• Completion of an ACGME-accredited Diagnostic Radiology residency.
• Fellowship training or substantial experience in Breast Imaging preferred.
• MQSA certification or eligibility required.
• Eligible for Massachusetts medical licensure.
