Family Medicine Physician & Residency Faculty - Valparaiso, IN

Join our team in Valparaiso, IN as a full-time Family Medicine Physician providing both patient care and resident education. You’ll split your week between clinical practice (about two days) and faculty duties with our Physician Residency Program (about two days), giving you the chance to care for patients with chronic conditions, promote wellness and prevention, and help train the next generation of family physicians.

What you’ll do

• Deliver proactive, high-quality care for patients with chronic illnesses and identify appropriate wellness and preventive services.
• See patients in the clinic two days per week.
• Serve as teaching faculty two days per week: supervise residents, offer hands-on instruction, and provide academic mentorship.
• Help arrange resident rotations to meet program goals and objectives.
• Participate in on-site program reviews to maintain quality and compliance.
• Take part in recruitment and selection of residency candidates.
• Perform additional clinical and academic duties as needed to support the program and patient care.

Basic requirements

• Graduate of an accredited medical school.
• Completion of an appropriate residency program.
• Board certification.
• DEA certification and current CPR certification.
• Active Indiana medical license.
• Commitment to ongoing continuing medical education.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
