Board-Certified/Eligible Anesthesiologist - University-Affiliated Level I Trauma & Burn Center (Phoenix, AZ)

We’re recruiting a Board Certified or Board Eligible anesthesiologist for a full-time clinical role at a university-affiliated teaching hospital in metropolitan Phoenix. This facility is a state-designated Level 1 Adult Trauma Center and an ABA-verified Burn Center, offering a fast-paced, academically oriented environment with opportunities for university appointment.

What you’ll do:

• Deliver anesthesia care across a broad case mix, including Labor & Delivery, neonatal and general pediatrics, general and robotic surgery, neurosurgery, ENT, plastics, burn care, level 1 trauma, orthopedics, podiatry, and special procedures outside the OR. You’ll also use TEE for perioperative and critical care patients.
• Manage a high-volume caseload - approximately 11,000 anesthesia encounters per year.
• Supervise and teach learners at multiple levels: residents (emergency medicine and surgery), CRNAs, student nurse anesthetists, and medical students.
• Collaborate daily with a multidisciplinary team to provide safe, high-quality care for complex and high-acuity patients.

Call schedule and benefits:

• In-house call approximately 4-5 times per month.

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology.
• Comfortable working in a busy, high-acuity environment with strong interpersonal skills and flexibility.
