Key responsibilities

• Evaluate and stabilize patients presenting with urgent and emergent conditions.
• Perform focused histories, physical exams, and order/interprete diagnostic studies.
• Develop and execute evidence-based treatment plans, including medication management and minor procedures.
• Coordinate care with consulting services, nursing staff, and ancillary departments.
• Document encounters accurately and maintain compliance with institutional and regulatory standards.
• Participate in departmental quality improvement and patient safety initiatives as needed.

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine (ABEM or AOBEM).
• Active Florida medical license.
• Current ACLS and PALS certifications.
• Strong clinical judgment, effective communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
