Locum Orthopedic Trauma Physician Assistant (Neptune City, NJ) - Inpatient PA, $150/hr

Type: Locum tenens - Inpatient Orthopedic Trauma
Compensation: $150/hour

Overview
Provide inpatient orthopedic trauma coverage, working with the care team to manage evaluations, operative care, consults, and discharges.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily inpatient rounds and evaluate orthopedic trauma patients.
• Provide pre-operative and post-operative care and follow-up.
• Respond to consults and assist with routine floor duties.
• Prepare patients for discharge and complete all discharge documentation and instructions.
• Support team procedures, including splinting, and collaborate with another APP.

Schedule

• Monday-Friday, 6:30 AM-2:30 PM
• No call or holiday coverage

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Current NCCPA certification
• Active New Jersey PA license
• Current DEA and CDS registrations
• Orthopedic experience preferred
