**Position Highlights:**
- Full-time Internal Medicine faculty opportunity focused on Health Equity and Value-Based Care
- Provide comprehensive outpatient Internal Medicine care in a Value-Based Care Clinic
- Serve as core faculty for the Internal Medicine Health Equity Track
- Supervise and mentor Internal Medicine residents in a clinic-based academic environment
- Teach Primary Care, population health, value-based care, and health equity-focused practice
- Participate in journal clubs, lectures, case conferences, and resident workshops
- Mentor residents in quality improvement, health equity research, and scholarly projects
- Help develop and improve curriculum aligned with ACGME competencies
- Utilize population health tools, risk stratification, and care coordination strategies
- Focus on improving patient outcomes and reducing healthcare disparities
- Address social determinants and other non-medical drivers of health
- Work collaboratively with Care Managers, Pharmacists, Social Workers, Behavioral Health Specialists, and community partners
- Participate in quality improvement and population health initiatives
- Collaborative academic environment with opportunities for professional growth and leadership development
- No call

**Qualifications:**
- MD or DO
- Completion of an ACGME- or AMA-approved Internal Medicine residency required
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine required
- Texas medical license or willingness to obtain required
- Interest in resident education and academic medicine required
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary care environment required
- Experience in medical education, health equity, population health, or value-based care highly preferred
- Clean malpractice and license history highly preferred
