**Neonatal NP Opening in Jacksonville, FL**
We are seeking an experienced Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) to join a collaborative neonatal care team providing coverage across multiple hospitals in the Jacksonville, Florida area. This full-time opportunity offers a dynamic clinical environment, strong physician support, flexible extended shifts, and an excellent work-life balance while delivering high-quality care to newborns and critically ill neonates.

- Mix of sixteen 24-hour shifts designed to promote work-life balance
- Rotational weekend coverage included within scheduled shifts
- Combination of in-house coverage and physician on-call support
**Key Responsibilities**
- Provide comprehensive neonatal care in Level II NICUs and normal newborn nurseries.
- Attend high-risk and routine deliveries as part of the neonatal care team.
- Deliver patient care across multiple assigned hospitals within a designated healthcare system.
- Collaborate with an experienced multidisciplinary team of neonatologists, pediatricians, and advanced practice providers.
- Practice with a high level of clinical autonomy while supported by in-house neonatologist coverage and on-call physician backup.
- Maintain high standards of neonatal care and evidence-based clinical practice.
- Participate in a collegial, team-oriented environment focused on delivering exceptional patient outcomes.
**Practice Environment**
- Coverage across four hospitals within two healthcare systems.
- Collaborative team including: 6 Neonatologists, 1 Pediatrician, and 16 Advanced Practice Providers
- Dedicated assignment to a single healthcare system.
- Strong physician support with both in-house and on-call neonatologist coverage.
- No transport responsibilities required.
**Qualifications**
- National Certification as a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP)
- Master's Degree in Nursing
- Minimum of 1 year of Neonatal Nurse Practitioner experience
- Florida APRN license or willingness to obtain prior to employment
- DEA registration prior to start date
- Preferred: Clean malpractice and professional license history
