Senior Medical Director of Urology opening in OH
Located in Portsmouth, OH
Full-Time, Permanent
Practice Overview:
- Full-time Senior Medical Director of Urology opportunity in Portsmouth, Ohio
- Board Certified Urologist needed to lead a well-established hospital-employed Urology practice
- Flexible scheduling available
- Leadership experience preferred
- Office schedule: Monday-Thursday, 8:00 AM-4:30 PM, and Friday, 8:00 AM-noon
- Schedule can be flexed
- Call schedule: 1:3, approximately 17 weeks per year
- Outpatient clinic volume: 15-20 patients per day
- Clinic schedule includes 3-4 half-day clinics
- OR volume: 4-8 procedures per day
- Participation in weekly tumor board meetings expected
- Supportive team includes 2 nurse practitioners, medical office assistants, clinical staff, surgery scheduler, and UDS technician
Equipment / Technology:
- EMR: Meditech
- Dragon Medical One
- UDS machine
- Cystoscopy monitors
- Rigid, flexible, and disposable cystoscopes
- Ultrasound machine with vaginal/rectal ultrasound probe
- Trophon system
Compensation & Recruitment Package:
- Base salary of $708,320 * for initial two year contract.
- Additional recruitment details to be discussed during the interview process
Job Qualifications:
- MD or DO
- Board Certified in Urology
- Ohio medical license or eligibility
- Leadership experience preferred
- Ability to work collaboratively with clinical staff and leadership
- Interest in practice leadership, service line development, and tumor board participation
