**Hematology/Oncology opening in Anderson, SC**

Seeking a fellowship-trained Hematologist/Oncologist for Cancer Center in Anderson, SC. This is an excellent opportunity to help rebuild and expand a well-supported practice while providing comprehensive cancer care in a state-of-the-art facility. The incoming physician will enjoy a collaborative environment, access to clinical trials, robust support services, and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on a growing patient population.
**Schedule**
- Full-time position.
- Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM (minimum of 32 patient contact hours weekly).
- Practice call and inpatient oncology coverage.
- No weekend call responsibilities.
**Position Responsibilities**
- Provide comprehensive outpatient hematology and oncology care.
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with hematologic and oncologic disorders.
- Conduct outpatient clinic visits with limited inpatient rounding responsibilities.
- Participate in practice call and inpatient coverage for oncology patients.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including Radiation Oncology, infusion services, pharmacy, laboratory, and supportive care specialists.
- Utilize Epic EMR for patient care documentation.
- Contribute to the continued growth and development of the oncology program.
**Practice Highlights**
- Approximately 1,200 new cancer cases annually.
- Average patient volume of 15–25 patients per day.
- State-of-the-art cancer center with Commission on Cancer Accreditation since 1984.
- On-site Radiation Oncology department.
- 24-bay outpatient infusion center with dedicated oncology pharmacist.
- On-site laboratory services.
- Access to nationwide clinical trials through the UC NCORP network.

**Qualifications**
- Board Eligible (within five years of eligibility) or Board Certified in Hematology/Medical Oncology.
- Board Certification strongly preferred.
- Completion of an accredited Hematology/Medical Oncology fellowship.
- Eligible for South Carolina medical licensure.
- DEA and CSR/CDS certification prior to start date.
- Clean malpractice and licensing history (most recent NPDB Self QueryReport within last 30 days)
- H-1B and J-1 visa sponsorship available.
- Ability to establish residency within the local community.
