**About the Position**
A Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant is sought to join a collaborative Neurosurgery and Orthopedic Spine team in Wenatchee, Washington. This full-time position offers a dynamic blend of inpatient, outpatient, emergency department, and operating room responsibilities while working alongside experienced neurosurgeons in a comprehensive spine and neurosurgery program.

-Inpatient and outpatient practice
-Operating room and clinic responsibilities
-On-call participation

**Practice Highlights**
-Provide comprehensive neurosurgical and orthopedic spine care
-Perform new patient evaluations, post-operative follow-up, and hospital consultations
-Assist in the operating room with:
-Craniotomies
-Spinal procedures and instrumentation
-Intrathecal Baclofen pump placement
-Microscopic procedures
-Perform wound closures and postoperative management
-Assist with VP shunt evaluation and reprogramming
-Place and manage ventricular/ICP monitors and lumbar drains
-Conduct daily inpatient rounds, including ICU patients
-Assist with discharge planning and discharge summaries
-Evaluate emergency department and inpatient consults
-Prescribe medications and perform procedures within scope of practice
-Cross-train to support all surgeons within the department

**Qualifications**
-**Nurse Practitioner:** Active Washington RN and ARNP license with prescriptive authority (required by start date)
-**Physician Assistant:** Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program with active Washington PA licensure (required by start date)
-Current BLS (CPR) certification
-Neurosurgery or orthopedic spine experience preferred
-Strong clinical judgment and procedural skills
-Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
