Orthopedic Surgery - Trauma & Sports opening in MA
Located in Burlington & Peabody
Full-Time & Permanent
Seeking a BE/BC Orthopedic Surgeon who is fellowship trained Trauma and/or Sports. Dual training highly preferred.
- This role combines high-complexity acute trauma coverage at a Level I Trauma Center with a robust elective sports medicine practice.
- Provide comprehensive surgical and non-surgical care for acute trauma, complex fractures, joint injuries, soft tissue reconstruction, and sports injuries.
- Level I Trauma Call: Participate in the trauma call rotation for rapid evaluation, resuscitation, and operative management of polytrauma.
- Outpatient Practice: Maintain a sports medicine and post-trauma follow-up clinic across designated LHMC ambulatory sites.
- Partner with Emergency Medicine, Trauma Surgery, Radiology, Physical Therapy, and APPs.
- Contribute to quality initiatives, clinical research, and the training of residents, fellows, and advanced practice clinicians.
- Skills: Demonstrated surgical excellence in complex fracture management and advanced arthroscopic/sports procedures.
- Base salary is determined by experience, specialty, and productivity, with additional opportunities for performance, quality, and productivity bonuses.
- Base Salary: $425,000 – $500,000
