**Practice Setting**
-Level II Nursery
-Approximately 800 deliveries annually
-9 Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum (LDRP) suites
-6-bed pediatric unit
-No NICU or PICU
-Patient census varies seasonally, from 1-2 newborns to a full unit during RSV season
-Private physician office with resting space available during shifts

**Qualifications**
-MD or DO
-Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatrics
-Eligible for Illinois medical licensure
-Ability to respond within 15 minutes while on call
-Strong clinical, communication, and teamwork skills
-Commitment to providing compassionate, high-quality pediatric and newborn care

Centrally located in Mattoon, Health Center is a 128-bed, community hospital in East Central Illinois - 180 miles south of Chicago and 130 miles east of St. Louis.
