**Psychiatric Mental Health NP/PA Opening in NE**
Located in Columbus, Nebraska
**About the Position**
A Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) is sought to join an established outpatient psychiatry clinic in Columbus, Nebraska. This full-time opportunity offers a collaborative practice environment alongside a psychiatrist and multidisciplinary behavioral health team while providing comprehensive psychiatric care for patients of all ages.
-Full-time employed position
-Outpatient-only practice
-Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM
-Hospital-based psychiatric clinic
-Team-oriented behavioral health environment
**Practice Highlights**
-Provide psychiatric evaluations and diagnoses for children, adolescents, and adults
-Develop individualized treatment plans
-Provide medication management and therapeutic interventions
-Collaborate closely with the psychiatrist and multidisciplinary care team
-Order and interpret appropriate diagnostic and therapeutic testing
-Prescribe psychiatric medications
-Provide patient and family education
-Coordinate referrals to specialty and community resources as appropriate
-Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation
-Deliver evidence-based behavioral health care in an outpatient setting

-ANCC certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC)
-Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
-Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
-Commitment to providing compassionate, evidence-based psychiatric care
