**About the Position**
A BC/BE Pediatrician is sought to join an established outpatient pediatric practice in Coastal South Carolina. This Core Faculty opportunity combines outpatient pediatrics with resident teaching in a supportive, physician-led environment that emphasizes work-life balance, clinical excellence, and medical education.

-Full-time employed position
-Outpatient-only practice
-Core Faculty opportunity with Family Medicine Residency
-Monday-Thursday: 8:00 AM-5:00 PM
-Friday: 8:00 AM-12:00 PM
-36 clinical hours and 4 administrative hours weekly
-Shared 1:6 call with after-hours nurse triage
-PSLF-eligible employer

**Practice Setting**
-See approximately 20-25 patients per day
-Comprehensive outpatient care from birth through adolescence
-Dedicated nurse and experienced support staff
-Cerner EMR with Dragon dictation and Ambient AI technology
-Access to in-house laboratory, diagnostic services, and specialty referrals
-Established and growing patient population

**Practice Highlights**
-Provide preventive care, well-child visits, and immunizations
-Perform sports physicals and school health evaluations
-Manage same-day sick visits and acute pediatric illnesses
-Treat chronic pediatric conditions and provide ongoing follow-up care
-Offer routine in-office services including vision and hearing screenings
-Supervise and teach Family Medicine residents during pediatric rotations
-Participate in resident education while maintaining a balanced outpatient schedule
-Opportunity to help train the next generation of primary care physicians

**Qualifications**
-MD or DO
-Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatrics
-Eligible for South Carolina medical licensure
-Interest in resident education and academic medicine
